What this statement covers
This statement applies to the public pages of gianhealthcare.co.uk, including our home, about, team, services, recruitment, newsletter, contact and feedback pages. It does not cover the staff portal, which is only available to our employees after signing in.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of our duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labelled navigation so that screen readers can move around them.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text can be resized to at least 200% with browser zoom without losing content or function.
- The site works on phones, tablets and desktops, in portrait and landscape.
- Form fields on our contact, feedback and application forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
- Links and buttons can be reached and operated with a keyboard.
Known limitations
We know that some parts of the site are not yet fully accessible. We are working to fix the following:
- Our Privacy, Safeguarding and Whistleblowing policies and our CQC report are published as PDF documents, and some of them may not read well with a screen reader. If you need any of them in another format, please ask us.
- Some pages use animated effects that do not yet respond to the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
- There is not yet a "skip to content" link at the top of each page for keyboard users.

If you find something on this website that you cannot use, or you would like any of our information in a different format such as large print, easy read or plain text, please get in touch. Tell us the web address of the page, what the problem is, and the format you need.
